Harry Potter meets Super Bad

The thing with magic is you've got to believe it's still here, all around us, or it will remain invisible. For one cynical young man the unreal will become luminous.

In the fantasy comedy THE 7TH STRIKE, Remy Rousseau, an inept magicians assistant unwittingly tussles with Elric, a cocky magician and undercover wizard, in a bar fight. Humiliated, Elric casts a deadly seven lightning strike spell on his new sworn enemy. Remy laughs off the whole ordeal until he's struck by lightning twice in two days and somehow survives.

Desperate, with only five days left, Remy reluctantly agrees to let Melf, a mysterious little man claiming to have been Elric's disgruntled apprentice, lead him on a quest to break the spell before he's electrocuted to death in public without a chair. On top of that, he's being hounded by an annoying news-reporter during sweeps week. Remy's quest leads him into a world of secrets, unwanted fame, love, wizardry, and ultimately his true destiny.
