Synopsis/Details

Ruddoc fears madness as he hears invisible foes skirmishing in Sherwood Forest.
A dead deer lies at his feet and Ruddoc knows the punishment he must pay as he is surrounded by the Sheriff's men and brutalised before he is hung from the branch of the oak tree.
Ruddoc's blood seeps into the parched earth, reviving it, and past transgressions surface as vengeance is enacted by Herne the Hunter and the old Gods of Sherwood Forest.
Old enmities cast long shadows as the eternal struggle between Robin Hood and Guy of Gisborne is re-enacted until there is only one that can enter the door marked winter.
