Synopsis/Details:

Chicago, 2130.

After the Big One dropped, most of the western hemisphere was blanketed under a permanent nuclear winter. In the years preceding the last great nuclear exchange, Chicago became renowned as a world leader in technology. Most notably, the robotics and defense company Arbright Synthetica bought the Sears Tower and converted to their headquarters.

But that's now what our story is about.

Our story begins in the city of Holdout, one of the last civilized settlements. A scout goes on a standard recon mission to stop encroaching barbarian raiders when the Holdout's robotic defense fail completely. Holdout is completely vulnerable, and the barbarians that have claimed the nearby steel mills know it.

A plan is hatched to send a small party to Sears Tower in an attempt reboot the defenses before the 'barbs can burn Holdout down. A misanthropic scout known only as the Cowboy leads the party, attended by comm officer Sanjeev Ruptja and robotics expert Dr. Macon.

The three of them must navigate the dangers of the snowy wastes, braving flesh-rending ice storms, horrific mutants, bloodthirsty barbarians, and the shadows of their own pasts before the can reach the Sears Tower...and the terrible secret that sleeps at the top.

Having had my head filled with all manner of delusions of guaranteed success, I resolved to one day make my living creating the only things that made sense to me: film and television. This was, in retrospect, a rather foolish idea, and I should have instead tried for something more practical and easier to break into, like becoming the president or the first person to pitch a perfect game on Mars. I went to Indiana University of Bloomington, the finest collegiate institution that was willing to give me a discount. I got two degrees: one in Film Analysis,... Go to bio
