What I Loved
Thanks for the Trip. An avant-guard, new wave style of writing reminiscent of the late 60s early 70s. A surreal comedy with a flow of conscious aspect and psychoanalytical dream sequences. It has the feel of some of the Luis Bunuel films of the 60's. In the 70s this would have been hailed as "far-out." But as I've always been an existentialist beatnik at heart, I give it a "heavy, man, heavy" along with three finger snaps. (Do I hear bongos?) This is a nitch genre for the select few who enjoy bizarre satires of depth and insight. (Ken doll as the Devil - Wild!)
What I'd Love To See
I would like to see this produced in some sort of visual medium, which could be film, animation, or published as a graphic novel. Adult Swim comes to mind. And avant-guard writing competitions may be a source to gain recognition and a means to get it produced or published, though it would have to be properly formatted to the specific style of production. The Major production entities are dying dinosaurs, while the indies proliferate and evolve. Persevere
