Fellow Scribes,
Not really a "new" topic, per se, but simply an informational item: while I'm flattered a fellow writer would ask me to read one of his/her scripts, I'd ask that writers return the favour and read one of mine: what's "good for the goose" and all that....
Cheers & All Best,
Thomas A. Simmons (Tom)
Ditto.
Just followed you, James...like minds.

I agree completely, and I tried, but I got a lot of negativity, so I gave up. I think, and I could be wrong, the anonymous nature of the internet is a disadvantage here. From the negative PMs I got, not everyone wants to have their scripts read. It seems they are many who want to be instantly discovered by a producer or instantly popular on the internet. Virtual reality and all that.
I think it might be better to get to know someone first. That's my impression.
Good insights, Lily - many thanks for them. Personally, I think the more people a writer knows the better chance there is of meeting someone who a) likes one's writing and b) has "pull" when it comes to production. That said, I'm not all gung-ho on the "internet sensation" stuff either.
Cheers & All Best,Tom S.
Thanks, Thomas - and likewise.
