As someone who's looking to produce some short films, a word of advice: I am wary of writers who don't write properly. If I read a post like yours, which the lack of punctuation and capitalization, I would expect the script to be written the same way (and therefore hard on the eyes).

Also if you're going to put this out there, include the logline. If I have to reach out to ask what it's about, I will probably just move on to the next thing.

I'm sorry, Jeremiah, if I gave you the wrong impression. I'm honestly offering help. This website is designed to passively offer free tools to help screenwriters with their goals. It's not really a direct sales website.

I'm honestly trying to help as well.

If you want to be a professional writer, you should always write professionally - even on website message boards. You don't want someone writing you off based on a bad first impression. If grammar, punctuation, and other elements of writing are not your strong suit, there are plenty of online resources.

The same goes for loglines. If you don't know how to write one, perform a Google search on "how to write a logline." Almost no one will read your script without hearing / reading the logline first.

Good luck!

Jeremiah, bear in mind, you might have the best script ever, but you are anonymous. Just another pixel on the screen. You haven't uploaded a photo. No one knows you. Hell, when I first joined this site, no one knew me. We all start as strangers.

There are a few things you can do to progress on this website.

1) Highly recommend uploading your photo. We need to know you're a real person.
2) Consider paying for Rockstar membership. You get to see stats for your scripts, access to zoom chats, webinars, and discounts. It's only a few bucks a month. It's entirely possible many are reading your script, but the stats are hidden for you.
3) Read. I still recommend the Turn and Burn Guide, not because I think you're uneducated, not at all, because I really think you'll enjoy reading a guide that might make you feel less alone. The ScriptRevolution blog (in the top menu) has good articles that may help you take that next step, and they're all free to read.

If you thought it was going to be as easy as, write a script, instantly get a cheque for a million dollars, I'm sorry, but it simply doesn't work that way. Welcome to screenwriting. Put yourself out there. Talk to people. Network.

Side note, in case you wonder, I spell cheque the Canadian way.
