When a script is marked as "Free," What exactly does that mean? Can anyone just use for what they want? Do they first still have to get author's permission? How about writing credit? How about Option time as Free, etc?
It just means the writer isn't expecting any financial compensation for the script. They absolutely should only be produced with permission and with the writer credited.
Thanks, C. J. , I thought if you said Free, maybe someone might just be able to take and use it. I am glad to surmise that they must first get your permission, etc. Best, Jed.
