Fred “Fishy” Wongniwak is a small business owner, a city councilman, and, oh yeah, the son of Cthulhu. Forever browbeaten by his family, the local Mayor and the insanity from beyond space and time, he lives a life of quiet desperation just waiting for the world to end. Literally.
Reverand Jane Hex is the mother of the antichrist, who, to make matters even worse, is a surly teenager. And keeping a bunch of Satanists in line is no easy task! But Jane has a sharp mind, a sharper tongue and the sharpest fashion sense wherever she is.
Called to the small town of Happy Vale, Jane meets Fred and they clash before realizing that they have both met the most interesting person they have ever found in their lives. They share a love of raw flesh, the annoyances of bent reality and dealing with families that expect a lot from them. Well, everything from them.
It’s too bad Satan and Cthulhu each want their own apocalypse. Can Jane and Fred negotiate the city council, a blended family and their demi-god exes? Just how many times can the world end?
