Synopsis/Details
Jules is, self declared, the most useless person in the post apocalyptic world. In his tiny home town of Potanka, deep in the desert, where brain and braun have become the most essential tools for survival, Jules can offer neither. And though he can eek out a living on the coattails of his friend Johnny's manual labor, and his sister Sheila's mathematic mind, he yearns for a life beyond simple survival. When a far flung salvage mission leads Jules to an old 35mm film camera, he finally determines his purpose; to make the greatest movie in the new world... the only movie in the new world. It's not long before Jules's filmmaking skills are truly put to the test when D, a beautiful young actress, and her sister Izzy, make their way across the desert and straight into Jules's town. Determined to make a perfect movie to prove his worth to the world, and to D, Jules soon finds himself managing a ragtag cast and crew, working together to create a classic film amongst the ruins of their former world. But while they film scenes of romance and triumph, a Survivalist surveys the deserts around Potanka, looking for signs of life. And when a chance encounter between the Survivalist and Jules's film crew leads a group of militants into Potanka, Jules proves he can do far more than just direct.

My body of written work includes twelve features, three series and a novel trilogy. I have written on spec, on assignment, and adapted my own material to suit production and publication. I have also directed four short films and am working toward directing my first feature. I've been lucky enough to earn a few laurels along the way, and hope to earn more in the future. I love telling stories that… Go to bio
