24 Hours

Cape Town is famous for it's tourist attractions, bars and restaurants and landmarks. It's only natural for two girlfriends to accept a New Year's Eve party invite on the doorstep of the busy Victoria & Alfred Waterfront's harbor. As the clock ticks down to the end of the year a restless Kimberley suggests that a house party is not enough. Inside the mall people gather; some buying gifts others dining in restaurants as the bars are hopping and a crowd gathers around a live band while they dance and sing away. The music rings loud into the night and the moon is set high and stars shine perfectly over the Atlantic Ocean as ships dock and more tourist arrive. When the fireworks are displayed to the amusement of the crowd, excitement and suspense lingers as a timer appears indicating the final minutes to the hour and yet another freight ship enters the harbor at a slow pace lazily rocking against the undercurrent of the Atlantic as it makes it's way to the dock. The girls finally moves away from the crowd in search of more action and wilder fun to experience a night they won't forget. Soon things take a quick wrong turn when the two are unwittingly discovered by Chinese Triad and their deal is ultimately soured. As the clock ticks they accept that her race between life or death has just begun as they face the next 24 HOURS.
