Synopsis/Details
Los Angeles, 1965. Beneath the golden glow of Bel Air's most exclusive enclave, a singular meeting has been arranged at the estate of America’s greatest living icon: Elvis Presley. For one night only, far from the cameras and chaos of the outside world, The King is set to meet The Beatles—the British Invasion’s reigning royalty—for a closed-door summit of egos, talent, and cultural torque.
The setting? A mansion tucked discreetly behind a gated drive on 525 Perugia Way. The mood? Electrified with anticipation. On the surface, it’s all champagne and reverence—mutual admiration exchanged between music legends as handlers, managers, and handpicked insiders tiptoe around the swirling potential of a global media moment never meant to be seen.
But not everyone inside the house has come just to gawk or jam.
As night falls and guests grow looser with liquor and pills, the atmosphere curdles from giddy to uneasy. Tensions rise. Grudges form. Jealousy simmers beneath fame-polished grins. Whispers of deals, demos, and dark intentions begin to surface. Behind every flash of stardom is a shadow—and someone, it seems, wants to make sure this night is never remembered for the music.
Enter Jack LaRusso, a burned-out LAPD vice detective with a knack for managing messes in Hollywood’s underbelly. Summoned through back channels to discreetly intervene when the party takes a turn, LaRusso finds himself walking into something far more dangerous than a celebrity scuffle. A body has turned up. The night has shifted. And the house on Perugia Way has become a gilded cage.
With the outside world pressing in—paparazzi massing at the gates, fans screaming for a glimpse—the pressure inside mounts. Loyalties fracture. Old secrets surface. And somewhere in the haze of paranoia and candle smoke, a hidden agenda begins to emerge… one that involves a demo tape, a missing girl, and a psychotic undercurrent running beneath the beat of history.
As LaRusso races against time to unravel what really happened, he’ll have to navigate a minefield of clashing egos, buried crimes, and pop culture mythology—while trying to keep a fragile young woman alive, and the biggest stars in the world from tearing each other apart.
Blending the taut suspense of classic noir with the pop mystique of mid-century celebrity culture, 525 PERUGIA WAY is a fictionalized fever dream spun from the real-life meeting between Elvis Presley and The Beatles. It’s a smoke-filled, acid-laced collision of fame, madness, and American illusion—where image is everything, and truth is the most expendable commodity of all.
With razor-sharp dialogue, period detail, and a soundtrack of psychedelic unease, the film unfolds like a conspiracy theory set to vinyl: part Raymond Chandler, part Altman, part Tarantino, all steeped in the golden rot of ‘60s Los Angeles. The house is real. The night was real. What happened inside? No one has ever talked about. Until now.
