Synopsis/Details
After open heart surgery, Amy’s daughter takes her back to the house that’s been in the family for generations to recuperate. Amy grew up in the house on the edge of a California canyon and raised her daughters there. The house has a beautiful view of mountains, sky and rich neighbors. As Amy recovers she eats brown edged cookies and bird watches. She teaches her granddaughter the same way her father taught her, how to use binoculars and a telescope. Stealing a little from “Rear Window”, they see too much. Before calling the police and risking looking like idiots they decide to become detectives. Amy’s daughter is in the process of getting a divorce and doesn’t want to tell her mother. She also doesn’t want to return home to this house with her tail between her legs. She didn’t like growing up poor among the rich.
