Synopsis/Details
Owen Reeves, a scrawny and unassuming reporter, infiltrates an exclusive vampire blood-tasting competition, donning disguises to conceal his human identity. The event turns deadly as vampire contenders, Duke Vincenzo Salibri and Artur Dubek, eliminate each other in a bid for supremacy. Caught in the crossfire, Reeves unwittingly becomes a witness to the supernatural power struggles within the vampire hierarchy. The mysterious Master of Ceremonies, Mortarus, seizes the opportunity to avoid a war between ancient and modern vampire families by suggesting they wake the ancient vampire leader, Count Tepis. As the vampires contemplate their next steps, Mortarus exposes Reeves' true identity. Surprisingly, Mortarus proposes that Reeves takes on a new role as the editor of a vampire newspaper, replacing the outdated chronicler position. In a twist of fate, Reeves resigns from his human tabloid job and embraces his newfound role in the vampire world. The quarter-page treatment concludes with Reeves stepping into the perilous role of editor, setting the stage for a thrilling journey as he navigates the dangerous intersection of human and supernatural realms.
