Good part of my childhood was spent sick in bed on an island south of Brazil. That meant watching tons of bad TV. But sometimes my dad would bring home movies on VHS tapes. Movies like The Road Warrior, Terminator, and Aliens. Movies that made me fall in love with cinema. He would take me to the movie theater whenever possible -- to movies that I actually was old enough to watch. I had a blast watching Ghostbuster, E.T., Gremlins, The Goonies and even the 30's version of King Kong. I started writing movies in my teen years, but without the Internet to help me, I had no idea what I was doing.
