Synopsis/Details
Ad Infinitum is a TV movie/series pilot written in the manner and style of Sleepy Hollow and Manifest. An industry reader recently described Ad Infinitum this way. “Ad Infinitum is a time-bending drama that follows two opposing civil war soldiers who are transported nearly two hundred years into the future in order to save the world from a global cabal of time-traveling wealthy elite. Right away, a major strength of this screenplay is the creative premise and imaginative world-building. The story has an immediate hook that pulls the viewers into a familiar scenario and then turns it on its head.” It’s about two civil war soldiers who, through a dramatic course of events, are transported from a nineteenth century Gettysburg battlefield to the twenty-first century. In an instant, they go from being mortal enemies to time-traveling allies. They meet a brilliant scientist, who has journeyed from the future to introduce them to their new destiny, which includes evading a group of homicidal mercenaries from the future and rescuing millions of people, yet to be born. This pilot script engages the viewer from the very beginning and keeps them involved, to the very end. And you'll see that this script introduces a plethora of subsequent episodic possibilities.
