Synopsis/Details
In a desolate "Zone Red 5," a team in hazmat suits, led by Dr. Myria Rane and Dr. Lee Abaro, encounters infected individuals, bringing a man (Elias) and his son back to their underground lab for study. Dr. Andrew "Drew" Voss, the mission commander, oversees the increasingly dangerous research, as the pathogen is revealed to be an evolving, hive-like organism. Myria herself becomes subtly infected after an encounter. The team learns of an "antidote at Usine" but also of an impending ambush. Back in the lab, the infected boy's body violently ruptures, releasing a bone-white alien parasite that escapes into the facility, triggering a full lockdown. Simultaneously, an exploration team (including Drew, Lee, Talia, Dean, Felix, and Luka) ventures into hazardous tunnels to find the source of the outbreak, unaware of the lurking danger now loose within their base.
