Synopsis/Details
Billy, a true guys’ guy golfs with his buddies while Leah and her bridesmaids put the finishing touches on the wedding, a week away. When she sets her sights on the same pair of dreamy wedding shoes as a bridezilla from the other side of the tracks, an altercation leaves her without the last two years of her memory.
The last thing Leah remembers is swearing off men after a messy breakup, so the last thing she wants to do is marry a man she doesn’t remember dating, but he persuades her not to call off the wedding in case he can help her memory return.
He takes Leah on a whirlwind tour of their courtship, revisiting the night they met at a noisy nightclub, their first date in a helmet and harness at a rock climbing wall and their first kiss after painting pottery. Each date produces a more unexpected result than the last, but her memories remain elusive.
After too much champagne, Leah takes advice from her bridesmaids who suggest she just enjoy the day she’s been planning since childhood and annul the whole thing later.
The day of the wedding, the groomsmen’s efforts to save Billy the inevitable humiliation of being left at the altar backfire and gets to the church.
Before they walk down the aisle, Leah’s father warns her against making a mockery of marriage leaving her more conflicted than ever.
As she listens to Billy’s vows, she stops the solemn ceremony in favor of a frank conversation. Realizing love is a choice, they both decide to take a chance.
