Synopsis/Details
Eve Chewter lives a comfortable but an unsatisfying life as a 16-year-old teenager, who has never met her mother. Her New York socialite father, Ben Chewter, agrees to let her see his ex-wife if she completes a summer internship program at Rhodes Corporation, one of the biggest media and entertainment companies in America, where he works.
Eve fits in poorly with among the gossipy interns but manages to get a job as a host of a daily news show. The problem is — her co-star is Adam Rivers, the son of Ben’s long-time business rival. Their task is to act like a couple while covering mundane news stories on live TV. Adam and Eve can’t stand each other in real life but eventually fall in love as they learn to work together as a team.
When the show’s lies get exposed, Adam and Eve come clean about their relationship, much to their fathers’ shock and anger. Eve then leaves town to meet her mother, and Adam goes after her. Ben realizes that he’s losing what really matters: his daughter. Reunited, Adam and Eve can’t believe that their families’ feud is finally over.
