Jack Mercer, a reclusive former gang enforcer, was forced to flee his violent past and has now found peace in a quiet neighbourhood with his new partner, Sarah.
Together, they hope for a fresh start, leaving behind the darkness that once defined him. But when local thugs disrupt their harmony, Jack struggles to keep his past ways buried, drawing attention from both criminals and the police.
As word of his location reaches old enemies, Jack is pulled back into a world of violence and revenge, forced to confront both past foes and new threats- realising that some pasts refuse to stay buried.
