Synopsis/Details
ARCHKO by Lindsey Smith is the timeless, spellbinding story of one man’s search for the truth. When Pastor W.D. Mahan, a small town, uneducated Missouri minister befriends a weary traveler one snowy night, he is inspired by stories of this stranger’s visit to Europe and his recent discovery of ancient never before seen manuscripts, which account intimate details of the arrest, trial, and crucifixion of Christ.
Not long after this unconventional encounter, Pastor Mahan has a significant dream in which he hears the resounding words, “seek and you will find”, and feels commissioned to embark on his own personal journey to uncover these nuggets of truth, first hand.
His travels take him to Europe and visits to the Vatican and Hagia Sophia which provide confirmation as he pursues authentication of these new writings. Upon his return home and with his research behind him, he pens a book entitled, “The Archko Volume”. However, upon distribution of his publication, the doors for speculation swing wide open, and only serve to propel those wishing to misjudge his integrity, which results in accusations of plagiarism.
