As their friendship grows Maya intuits a secret that Natalia hasn’t shared with her family or the ‘uptight’ world of Ballroom Dance, she’s gay. Maya and Natalia’s bond gives each the strength to love themselves and those around them. At the competition Maya finds out that Natalia hasn’t told her that the dance school, her new home-away-from-home is at risk of closing.
