Synopsis/Details
Hale is at the top of his game. He earns an Edgar for his last mystery, and his stories are being adapted for movies. The only fly in the ointment is a wife with COPD. Despite the best of care, she's dying. Desperate, Hale forms a pact with a demon, and while his wife thrives, he sinks. Divorce comes into play and with it, hate. Hale and wife wade into a snow storm and the fate that awaits them both.
