Synopsis/Details
BANG is a fish-out-of-water, six episode comedy series, set in the electrifying metropolis of Dubai. It features Zeffie, a twenty-something exuberant wide-eyed vivacious young woman, who moves from London to Dubai to seek a new life, following a disastrous boyfriend break-up. She’s determined to put the past behind her and move on to bigger and better things.  Over the six episodes we follow Zeffie as she tries to get a grip with life in this crazy city. Slowly she finds her feet and a little of the strength that perhaps she didn't know she had. The Dubai setting is quirky, engaging, fresh and maybe a little frightening. Reluctant taxi driver Omar, is our real life guide to this amazing city, and of course The Squid, the impossibly lovable, annoying, stateless, life-battered expat. Dubai provides endless backdrop of personalities, cultures and environments that allow us to amplify Zeffie's new life.

The Writer: David Finley

After working for 25 years deep within the bowels of the advertising industry, my body and mind said 'enough was enough'. I stepped back and I started to put pen to paper and fingers to keyboard. After 5 years I have produced one sole script for a quirky TV series called BANG, which has found it's way onto the desks at Comedy Central and United Artists here in the UK. I'm so close and yet so far. Its frustrating, but I'm not giving up. Who know's right? Go to bio
