Becoming Alex Avery - Pilot

"Becoming Alex Avery" follows the story of Jenna Gregory, a 15-year-old high school student grappling with the pressures of adolescence and the desire for romantic connection. Feeling overshadowed and longing for a change in her social status, Jenna concocts a plan to create the perfect fictional boyfriend, Alex Avery, with the assistance of her close-knit group of friends. Their elaborate scheme involves crafting a convincing digital footprint for Alex, complete with social media profiles and shared photos, in hopes of boosting Jenna's popularity and proving her worth to her peers, especially her high school nemesis, Brielle. However, the plan quickly complicates when Brielle challenges Jenna to prove Alex's existence. Caught in a web of her own lies, Jenna's only hope comes in the form of her new neighbour, Max, a quirky and aspiring actor who agrees to step into the role of the fictitious Alex.
