Synopsis/Details
Intensely working on his new novel, a college professor barely manages to get to class and teach as he becomes more involved with the plight of his lead character. Others, including his live-in girlfriend, chide him for his behavior as he is neglectful to others. The Professor begins to question his own involvement himself when his lead character starts showing up on campus, in the grocery store, in bars, and elsewhere. Meanwhile, his own writing suffers as he cannot finish his book, being obsessed with the live presence of a piece of fiction. Deciding he is just being delusional, he attempts to meet his character face to face to put it out of his head that these are two different realities, not one, and his encounter only makes matters worse as the two worlds have a fuzzy blend that makes it impossible for him to tell one from the other.
