Synopsis/Details
Behind enemy lines – rescue
Short Version / Synopsis
During the Kosovo War, U.S. Marine Jack Carter is deployed as an OSCE observer to monitor ceasefire violations between Serbian forces and the KLA.
Amid escalating violence, Jack falls in love with Aferdita, a courageous Albanian interpreter. When OSCE evacuates ahead of NATO airstrikes, Jack promises to return for her.
Weeks later, Jack infiltrates war-torn Kosovo to keep his word. Together, they flee through burning villages and massacre sites, hunted by ruthless Serbian commander Zeljko and his paramilitary troops. Along the way, Jack uses his military training to protect a group of refugees, facing relentless gunfire, ambushes, and brutal terrain.
With enemy forces closing in, Jack calls in a desperate favor from an Air Force pilot friend. As bombs rain down on Serbian positions, Jack and Aferdita make a final, deadly stand near the Albanian border – a fight for love, survival, and redemption.
