Synopsis/Details
JESSIE, homeless and struggling, is offered a free night at the mysterious Bellevue Hotel by a stranger. What initially seems like a rare chance for comfort quickly turns into a nightmarish TRAP when she learns that she cannot leave until she completes a script editing assignment given to her by the hotel’s cryptic representatives.
Unbeknownst to her, Jessie has been unknowingly recruited for a covert VR experiment powered by D-Wave quantum computing—Quantum Neuro-Synthesis (QNS) a cutting-edge technology that blurs the line between mind and reality. As Jessie attempts to complete the task, she is pulled deeper into a simulation that glitches unpredictably, distorting time and space.
Haunted by the recent loss of her children, Jessie’s every moment in the simulation is consumed by her longing to be reunited with them. As she relives painful memories, she is forced to confront her past mistakes—her homelessness, poor decisions, and the grief of losing her family. But as the glitches worsen and strange entities emerge, Jessie’s sense of reality begins to unravel.
What begins as an opportunity for healing and redemption soon reveals a darker truth: the VR simulation, designed to reintegrate society’s “misfits,” is not just a tool for recovery—it is altering her on a biological level. The line between therapy and transformation blurs as Jessie faces the consequences of humanity merging with cutting edge technology. Is she being healed—or rewritten into something entirely new?
