ACT ONE
LOCATION: Silicon Valley, San Francisco, CA USA
TIME: Present Day
In Silicon Valley, the next bright mind could mean the next billionaire. It’s a high-stakes arena where venture capital flows like a river of cash and the players are all out for blood. Jeff Quinn has one shot at building his masterpiece after failing so many times before. He takes a risk and lays his own life and the lives of others on the line aspiring to achieve a vast fortune. But, can it really be that easy?
Jeff has begun talks with high-level foreign clients, the type that doesn’t take “no” for an answer, but pays vast sums. Jeff is willing to do anything to accomplish his “once in a lifetime payday”, even if it means selling out his own country. He builds the facility and hires a team to make breakthroughs in sciences, not yet fully understood, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
ACT TWO
Jeff and the team must develop the prototype in record time in order to receive further funding. He forces the team to fake their way through a prototype in order to fool the offshore investors. Time is ticking until he is forced to deliver the project and he’s running short of time. Deadlines are fast approaching and the pace becomes frantic.
The relationship between Tom and Abbey is budding; bringing a new romance into the scene, even under such pressure and high stakes.
Jeff, in desperation, finds a new customer and double-deals to a competitor. In a dangerous, but highly lucrative double-cross, a client must die by accident… or perhaps both.
ACT THREE
LOCATION: Mumbai, India
The tragic accidental death of Ravi is pivotal and puts the team back on its heels. Jeff thinks of folding up the entire project as the authorities put pressure on him. It looks as if there is no escape unless Jeff can find a way out.
Jeff ensures the untimely death of his first client, but not until after receiving their $400 MM. He folds up the company and attempts to disappear but his greed leads him to double-cross the second client as well, but there is someone else who knows his secrets. The well-paid team is dismissed as Jeff announces the folding of the project.
Jeff vanishes. As luck may have it, Ravi is not dead. He calls the team together in Mumbai, where he reveals the sting that had really played out, one that would reward his entire team handsomely. The twist is unexpected, ingenious, and uplifting.
Abbey and Tom are rewarded by some unsuspecting trinkets from the client that turn out to be very valuable. They marry and begin their life together in more fulfilling positions. Jeff appears with his car on the railroad tracks, hit by an unseen freight train.
