Synopsis/Details
Set during the era of reconstruction, in USA. While the SON (16M) and his FATHER (50M) are out hunting deer, the Son, while chasing his prey, finds a wounded confederate soldier, now turned BANDIT wounded and sleeping behind a rock. Hiding him from his father, they return home, carrying with them a deer for dinner.
As the night comes, two bounty hunters, a black man and a white man, visit the family, informing them that they are searching for a criminal, who was reported to have fled into the nearby woods, from where the Son and Father returned from. Having learned of the bandits bounty, the boy return to the bandit in order to help him, but, to his surprise the bandit is neither going to run or hide.
As the morning came, the bounty hunters find the Bandit and prepare to hang him. As the Father pleads for the Bandits life, The bounty hunters don't listen and instead choose to hang him, to make sure his past actions are dealt with.
Some time passed and the son is out hunting alone. As he shoots a deer, the circle of nature continues on, where the weak and powerless are destroyed by the strong and powerful.
