Synopsis/Details
The year is 2005. Wilhelm, a self-proclaimed "master tactician," and Pluto, a hunter, are determined to become famous before their junior year of high school starts. Their town has fallen victim to several kidnappings, and legend has it that the culprit is no ordinary kidnapper. After running into Keith Bungalow, a homeless man, at the park, Wilhelm and Pluto learn about the legend of the Westward Wanderer, more recently dubbed as the Faceless Lurch. Keith explains that this creature is likely a shapeshifter, and it returns to this town every few years. The two boys see this as an opportunity to capture video evidence of an urban legend, which would make them famous. Before they can embark on this expedition, Wilhelm's long-time nemesis, Josh, a wannabe jock, insists on tagging along. As their journey continues and bickering ensues, Josh and Pluto begin to doubt Wilhelm's leadership skills and paranoia sets in that one of them is, in fact, The Faceless Lurch in disguise.
