Synopsis/Details
Dante Lee after his return to Atlanta, Georgia from combat duty in the military a year and a half prior, becomes the Head of Security at ATL Bourne, a fairly rough bar/nightclub that is due to get much rougher when the clientele of his previous club, Crunk Castle, begin to patronize it after Crunk Castle's impending closing.
Dante wrestles with the reality that he took very few transferrable skills away from the military that would translate to what he considers a decent career while trying to deal with his PTSD and bipolar mood disorder, save his failing marriage, be a good father, and decide exactly what he wants to and can do with the rest of his life, all while trying to form a foundation of trust with the staff and clients while keeping them at arm's length personally.
Dante takes an unexpected journey of discovery, finding a support system in the people he will come to consider his "bar family," discovering that he has far more to offer than combat skills, learning to let go of his habit of control through strict regimentation, and finding his personal self-worth.
