His parents Damon and Nino have no idea how to help him and he has no idea how to help himself. With graduation quickly looming and his future in doubt, Daryl is terrified of what could happen next. Feeling stuck and trapped on a road to nowhere that will bring him true joy. Meanwhile, millions of lightyears away 14-year-old Kitara “Kit” Provence lives on the assassin-for-hire-ridden Planet Prove. Unable to kill herself or so much as even stand the sight of blood Kit desperately seeks escape from her family’s chokehold on her life. Her adoptive older sister Solace encourages her to play by the family rules, but the defiant Kit refuses and leaves crash-landing on Earth. She and Daryl meet, repair her crashed ship, and decide to travel to become bounty hunters on a journey that takes them across the cosmos.
