Synopsis/Details
A young couple, Sarah and Mike, have brunch together. Sarah wants to break up with Mike, and at first tries to ease him into it, but he doesn't catch on, so she straight up tells him - "I think we need a break". Mike reads this as a holiday, and as the two discuss what to do next, neither realise the other is being mislead. Eventually, Mike gets confused and reveals his misreading, which Sarah realises, and agrees with. As she asks for time off work, it seems this is not the first time her break up attempts have ended like this.

The Writer: Devon Young

I've made up stories all my life, but it was only on joining my university Film Society and being introduced to screenwriting did I finally have a method of sharing them that I enjoyed. Since then, I've dabbled in shorts, features, and pilots, all as a hobby, though one I would love to take further if the oppotunity arose. Go to bio
