Synopsis/Details
SYNOPSIS: Elliott Young is one of the best and brightest agents in the British Temporal Enforcement Agency. Elliott and the Agency’s mission is to prevent the misuse of the still new event horizon technology that can allow a person to go back in time. However after seeing the technology abused by her peers and those in power without any punishment, she decides to right a wrong in her own past. Once this is complete and trapped in the past between her old and new future, she goes on the run. While avoiding the Temporal Enforcement Agency’s Eraser Unit’s, sent to remove her from history, she sets out to ‘put right what once went wrong’ in the lives of ordinary people rather those of privilege. STYLE: CGHA is essentially a dark reflection of the TV show Quantum Leap. Quantum Leap dealt in black and white where CGHA is more shades of grey. Also while Doctor Sam Beckett at heart believed the best in humanity, Agent Elliott Young is a lot more weathered, hardened and cynical about it despite being in her late 20s. However this doesn’t stop her from trying to do good things and sometimes getting things wrong along the way. CGHA again is at its heart a sci-fi drama with thriller aspects telling social commentary stories in a timely and honest manner. It is a mixture of the heart of ‘Quantum Leap’, the edge of ‘Persons of interest, and the darkness of ‘Blade Runner’. The show is not aimed at children, but for ages 14+. It will contain mature themes ranging from domestic violence to knife crime but with a sci-fi bent.
