Synopsis/Details
Act 1: Birth of Darkness (40 minutes)
* Scene 1: Rina's murder (7 minutes)
* Location: Chandpur, a secluded residential area. Late night, torrential rain.
* Description: Camera focuses outside a modern flat. Rain wet road, neon light reflection. Inside, Rina (aged 22-24) is working on a laptop, looking restless. A gentle knock on the door. He hesitated at first, then slowly opened the door. On the other side of the door stands Rasu (disguised, with a slight smile on his face, a strange glint in his eyes) with a gift packet wrapped in a colorful wrapper. A kind of friendly mask on his face.
* Dialogue:
* Rina (surprised): "This night! Rasu bhai? You?"
* Rasu (quietly): "Surprise! You didn't forget your birthday, did you?"
* Rina: “My birthday is next month…”
* Rasu: “It is the birthday of your new life.”
* Incident: Rasu rushes into the house. Before Rina knew anything, Rasu took out a sharp knife from his pocket and suddenly attacked Rina. There will be intense panic and speed in the scene. Rina doesn't get a chance to scream. The light suddenly went out, leaving only the sound of a crash in the darkness.
* Consequence: Rasu whispers from the darkness: "That's justice. You got justice." Rasu quickly left the scene, leaving behind a toy box.
* Scene 2: Farid's school life and first guess (6 minutes)
* Location: Rangpur Government School, an old classroom.
* Description: While other students in the class are concentrating on their studies, Farid (aged 13-14) is intently reading an old daily newspaper's crime report. A sharp inquisitive look in his eyes.
* Dialogue:
* Teacher (annoyed): "Farid! Exams are coming, stop killing. If you want to do something in life, sit with a book."
* Farid (smiling, but with determination in his eyes): "Sir, if you understand murder, history becomes easier. Behind all crimes there is a reason."
* Incident: Farid takes out his small notebook, where some drawings and some sentences are written. The camera zooms in on a page, on which is written in faint handwriting: "There is no love for a murderer, only emptiness." This scene heralds Farid's childhood concentration and innate interest in criminal psychology.
* Scene 3: Twitter Case – Rakib Kidnap (10 mins)
* Location: Farid's house, a dirty room, night.
* Description: Farid (now a normal youth, not yet joined the police) scrolls Twitter feed on laptop. Books, crime journals are scattered in his room. Suddenly an emotional tweet catches his eye: a woman (Sabina Khatun) is appealing for help for her missing son Rakib (aged 10). He complains that the police are not paying attention.
* Fact: Farid immediately commented below the tweet. He analyzes the kidnapper's state of mind, offers some subtle clues as to possible locations and how to find the boy. His analysis is so accurate that the local police are forced to act on his advice.
