I started my filmmaking career in São Paulo, Brazil , where I was born, initially as a screenwriter and also working in production for Broadcast Television. Over the past five years I have written, directed and produced a number of short films and documentaries. Throughout my career I have won a number of screenwriting awards and in 2014 I was shortlisted for the IMDB Script to Screen Award, held at the Bath Film Festival. In the same year I won an Ideastap Brief in collaboration with the BFI.
