Synopsis/Details
Cesar, the gang leader of the Corona Crew, arrives back into town after doing four years in prison. Elsewhere, Due to his daughter’s health bills, Carlos convinces Bruto to take down Cesar. After a small heist by Cesar and his right hand man, Anthony, Bruto is swayed to remain loyal to Cesar, seeing him as a good leader. Carlos remains determined to convince Bruto to take down Cesar.
As Bruto’s daughter worsens, Tio, the founder of the gang, calls a meeting to pull off one last heist. After a small power struggle between Cesar and Carlos, Cesar’s plan is put into action and the heist goes as planned. However, it is revealed that in a moment of shortsightedness, Carlos let the rival crew accidentally know who it was that stole their giant shipment of drugs, and Cesar severely beats him within an inch of his life.
After finding out Cesar took a bigger cut of the heist and seeing blood on his daughter’s pillow, Bruto, enraged, grabs his gun and drives over to Cesar’s to kill him. After a moment of confusion in the darkness, Bruto ends up accidentally killing Heno.
After Bruto’s daughter is hospitalized, Carlos and the betrayal crew hold a meeting about the final plan to kill Cesar. Mero convinces Cesar using flattery. When Cesar arrives, he is ambushed by the crew and is eventually overpowered. Bruto emerges from the shadows and delivers the final blow by stabbing Cesar in the back. Right before Cesar dies, Bruto gets overwhelmed and tries to call an ambulance. As soon as he whips out his phone, Carlos smacks it away and shoots Cesar in the head. Carlos gives a speech to the remaining crew. As soon as Bruto tries to leave, he gets shot in the shoulder by the rival BQE crew. The entire gang is ambushed and are overrun until Anthony sneaks up behind them and kills them all and saves the crew.
Anthony gets inside and after seeing Cesar’s body, immediately kills Carlos. Bruto then emerges from the shadows again and overpowers Anthony but then turns the gun on himself and kills himself.
The next day, Anthony takes his son to school and as we pull away, we see a mural of Cesar with his name misspelled.
