The Writer: Dawn Prato

After earning my BA at the University of Alberta with a Major in Music and Minor in Creative Writing, I moved to Vancouver, BC, to attend film school. I graduated from the Vancouver Film School's "Writing For Film and Television" program. During my time in school, I wrote the MC script for an Awards Night, co-wrote a short musical film that was nominated for Best Picture in a film festival, and collaborated with another faculty to help shape a short film (as well as my own work , here ).
