Synopsis/Details
Set in 1980's Chicago. Sal Molinari is a hardened detective who has lost all hope in humanity as the city is at an all-time low. Crime has taken over the city and with the addition of a new drug; C-4, overdoses are rising at alarming rates. Forced to partner with a new transfer, Sal and Detective Michaels are at odds when it comes to Sal's questionable street tactics. Sal travels through the underbelly of the city as he tries to gain information on who is supplying this new drug. With the pressure from work, along with his distant relationship with his daughter Dina, Sal seeks solace and comfort in Pepper, a hooker. As Sal finally tries to gain his daughters approval, she ends up partying with some friends and takes C-4, overdosing. Her friends dump her on the front porch where she ends up in a coma. Sal decides to finally fight back and goes to extreme lengths to track down the supplier and put an end to the madness once and for all. Firstly, he finds her classmate who gives up his older brother Shadow, who is working for Duke, the man at the top of this epidemic. Once getting in touch with Shadow, Sal and Michaels end up at The Nubian social club where all hell breaks loose.

The Writer: Joey Langone

I have always been a fan of film and story telling. I started writing stories as a kid and would play them out with my action figures and cars. As I got older, I became intrested in writing screenplays bu wasnt sure on how to go about that. I started downloading screenplays of my favorite films and used that as a referance until I enrolled in Columbia College Chicago. From there, I took many screenwriting classes and read as many screenplays as I could. After about a year I wrote my 1st screenplay. Some years later I have 5 screenplays in total and now I am looking to further my craft. Happy to read other writers stories here and hopefully get some feedback on mine. Go to bio
