Corpse Pose

This dark drama follows ALAN, a young man searching for his sister at a Spirituality Center. The Center is run by a group of women seeking contact with the astral bodies of the dead through a mystical “spiritual practice.” Initially the women claim not to know his sister. But when he refuses to leave, they set a deadly trap to get rid of him under the pretext of making him “welcome.”. He’s caught— only to be rescued and freed by a mysterious young girl. When Alan comes upon the dead body of his sister, he confronts the women with the apparent proof that they have killed her. He also threatens to bring in a police investigator to examine the facts. But no one responds. He assumes the women are ignoring him out of jealousy: he’s making contact with astral bodies while they themselves have been unsuccessful. Convinced he’s the one who knows reality, Alan tells them off as killers and frauds and walks away decisively —only to find his sister waiting for him. In a surprise ending, he realizes that he is actually in the spirit world himself and that he has been lured there by his sister — herself an astral body—in cooperation with the group.
