Synopsis/Details
Peter's story unfolds in a small town marked by love, betrayal, and tragedy. His mother, Emily, shared passionate but tumultuous relationships with three men—Mike, David, and Freddy—leading to the births of Peter, John, and Frida. The family’s fragile peace shatters when Mike and David murder Freddy in a fit of rage, resulting in their imprisonment for 16 years. Years later, as Mike and David are released, the family struggles to reconcile their dark past. Peter, now an adult, finds himself drawn into a dangerous web of drug dealing with Gustavo, a ruthless cartel leader. As tensions escalate, Peter’s actions inadvertently place his family in harm’s way. Meanwhile, Frida confronts her father’s sins after meeting Susan, a woman Freddy had assaulted years earlier. Her decision to exonerate Susan’s brother and cousin for their actions against her marks a turning point in her journey toward healing. As New Year’s Eve approaches, Peter organizes a nightclub event to celebrate fresh beginnings. However, chaos erupts when Gustavo’s men seek revenge, and Youssef, Freddy’s vengeful brother, storms in with a gun. In a heroic act of sacrifice, Mike shields Peter from harm, losing his life in the process. Five years later, Peter runs a successful business with his wife, Julia, and their son, Mikey. "Dad's Company" turned Peter's life around. At Mike’s grave, Peter reflects on his father’s sacrifices and resolves to honor his legacy by living a life of integrity and love. Through heartbreak and redemption, even in the face of darkness, Peter’s journey reminds us that life offers the chance for renewal and hope.
