Synopsis/Details
A town in north Texas is laden with sprawled out corpses as a psychotic cowboy drags a frightened Asian woman on to the dirty street with a gun pressed against her head. The union have the bad man surrounded as he tries to get away.
Fox (a rough-cut, badly beaten and bleeding safe-cracker) steps out on to the street just ahead of the aggressor ready to shoot. Fox fires a shot and the screen goes black.
The union storm a ranch at night looking for the remaining confederates. They discover a letter which details where the confederates are hiding. Also they discover plenty of gold bars.
Fox becomes engaged at a shoot out in the saloon when a fellow cowboy refuses to join the posse for a heist.
Fox and Forlan as well as the rest of the posse steal the gold bars from a Union train which is in motion.
Fox double crosses his posse and unhooks his carriage from the rest of the train. Upon cracking the safe he is booted through the window by Verona.
Fox and Verona are accosted by native Americans who takes them and the gold back to the Indian encampment.
The Indian chief offers Fox the gold back if he can rescue his grandson from being executed.
Fox rescues Golden Bear and takes him back to the reservation. The Chief gives Fox a vial of magical water.
Forlan's posse storm the reservation in the morning killing everyone except for Fox, Verona and golden Bear who flee to the next town of Saragossa. Jimmy and posse take the gold back to Forlan in Riverdale.
Forlan rallies the men together and talks to an engaged crowd about the uses for the gold which will buy them lots of trained soldier to finally overthrow the Union. Upon talking they hear a bone chilling scream from outside. They go outside to investigate and see one of their men half chewed up so Forlan makes Jimmy and posse go back to the reservation and make sure that all the Indians are dead.
Forlan prepares a stage coach with gold that rides out to Mazlo as payment for his involvement with the plan.
The stagecoach comes under attack by the undead spirit walkers and they all get dead. Michael makes his way back to Riverdale to inform Forlan that the gold got them killed by mutants.
Before Jimmy's eyes, Michael turns into flesh eater as Jimmy blows his head off with a shotgun.
The undead from the stagecoach stagger into town biting and spreading their disease to the town's people of Riverdale.
The town becomes over run by the Undead as Forlan and posse hightail to Mazlo's town to seek support in getting their town and gold back from the undead.
Fox and golden bear take the gold from Riverdale and hide it.
Forlan and Mazlo come back to the town to reclaim the gold but discover it has been taken. Jimmy notices a letter from Fox who wants to trade the gold for Verona's freedom who Mazlo has taken hostage.
The Union arrive in town and start shooting up the town. Golden Bear wrestles with Forlan and drags him into open gunfire, killing Forlan out right. Fox meanwhile is in a bare knuckle fist fight with Jimmy who pushes him through the window.
Verona witness the aftermath of the fight and gets taken hostage by Jimmy.
He drags her out on to the street where the Union troops are and tries to make his escape until Fox enters the frame poised to shoot. Fox takes a shot and the bullet slams through Verona's jugular and into Jimmy's head killing him outright.
The Union troops fire at Fox believing him to have killed Verona on purpose. Fox falls to the floor and struggles to crawl to Verona's corpse where administers the magic water which the chief gave him. He pours it into Verona's mouth, splashing some of it on her lips.
Fox dies as Verona is magically brought back to life and sees Fox lying dead next to her. She is upset and kisses him goodbye. Moments later Fox comes back alive from the residue on Verona's lips.
Verona instructs the Colonel that the gold is cursed and needs to be destroyed. He is skeptical and takes the gold to Washington.
