Deadly Woods

We meet our main protagonist TINA as a child who gets lost in the woods during a camping trip with her parents and her younger sister FRAN. When Tina finds her sister dead and strung up on a tree because of an asylum patient, it causes her to develop a fear of the woods and see Fran’s ghost. Later on in life as a junior college student, Tina gets invited to a wedding by her friend JAN at a resort. The only problem? The resort is surrounded by woods. Reluctantly, Tina agrees to go to the wedding. As Tina and Jan drive to the wedding, we meet DR.FLANDERS at an asylum confronting TYLER in possession of a Kabuki Mask. The Mask possesses Dr. Flanders and transforms him into a skilled killer who breaks out of the asylum. The Killer goes towards the wedding destination after seeing Jan’s car. While at the wedding, Tina befriends MARK who works at the hotel. As the wedding goes on, the Killer attacks during the wedding causing a panic and the power to go out. Tina and Jan get separated as the crowd evacuates the area. Tina meets up with Mark who agrees to help her find Jan and restore the power to the area. The Killer gets taken down by a security officer only to get possessed by the mask and become the new killer. Jan meets up with Paul who wants to avenge his wife’s death at the hands of the killer. Both groups dodge the killer on their way to the room with the generator. Tina and Mark find the generator only to get sabotaged by Jan and Paul. The Killer arrives but Paul manages to kill him, only to get possessed by the mask and become the new killer. This leaves Tina, Mark, and Jan no choice but to go through the woods to the nearby shack. Tina refuses but reluctantly agrees as long as she’s blindfolded. As Tina, Jan, and Mark go through the woods, the killer attacks and kills Jan and kidnaps Mark. Tina overcomes her fear of the woods by remembering her dead sister and then retrieves Mark from the killer. They arrive at the shack where Mark restores the power and can call the cops for help, only to get kidnapped by the killer again and dragged out to the frozen lake. Tina rescues Mark, and then finally defeats the killer while retrieving the mask. As Tina and Mark receive medical treatment, a vision of Fran convinces Tina to put the mask on. This causes her to go on a killing spree, killing Mark in the process. She then escapes into the woods with a new sense of purpose.
