Synopsis/Details
In a seemingly ordinary day, a surgeon finds himself in a critical situation at the hospital when an emergency surgery case arises. As he sips his coffee in his office, he is called to the operating room, donning his surgical scrubs and preparing for the operation with his medical team. The story takes a tragic turn when we learn that the doctor is a recovering alcoholic. The day before, he had been drinking heavily and returned home late, waking up only three hours later to the sound of his alarm. After a quick shower, he rushes to the hospital.
In the operating room, the surgeon faces difficulties seeing properly and makes a critical error during the surgery, witnessed by his team. Despite his attempts to manage the situation, the operation fails, and the patient dies.
On the other side, we have an engineer responsible for the planning and construction of a 70-story high-rise building. Passionate about his work, he dedicates himself to overseeing the project day and night. However, he is also a football fanatic, never missing a match. One day, as he is calculating figures for the building, an important game is taking place. Caught up in the excitement, he hastily finishes his calculations to watch the thrilling final minutes of the match, celebrating his team's victory.
Eager to attend another crucial game the following week, he submits his calculations to the construction team leader without reviewing them, rushing to the stadium. After a night of celebration and heavy drinking, he wakes up to numerous missed calls and messages from colleagues. When he checks the news, he discovers that the building he worked on has collapsed.
Meanwhile, we have a high-achieving lawyer who is diligent in his studies and work, with no vices or addictions. However, he struggles with severe anxiety and psychological issues. One day, while taking a shower, he experiences sudden outbursts of anger that come and go without warning. After preparing for iftar, he faces another episode and struggles to control his temper.
On his way to court, he encounters heavy traffic, which further aggravates him. Despite his best efforts to remain calm, his anger spirals out of control. Arriving late to the courtroom, he finds the judge presiding over a case involving a defendant accused of murder and facing the death penalty. As the defense attorney presents the evidence, the lawyer struggles to focus and ends up lost in thought, missing crucial details.
When it’s his turn to defend the accused, he stumbles over his words and fails to present a compelling argument before the jury. The trial concludes with the jury’s verdict resulting in a death sentence for the defendant.
