Synopsis/Details
After the death of their step-father at the hands of their mother, siblings Owen and Jane find themselves in the mysterious town of Pinecrest, where they learn the truth: Monsters are real, and it is in their blood. They learn that they possess abilities that they never knew of before, and it helps them escape the clutches of the top secret branch of the CIA called the SAA, which tries to experiment on monsters, especially rare ones. They befriend other monsters, including vampires, and learn that there is more going on in this town than they first realized. While learning more about themselves, they also start to question who their real father really is, as they believed for years he had left them when they were infants. Lost and scared, Owen and Jane look for comfort in this new world that they've been thrust in, and mystery has only just begun.
