Synopsis/Details
A boxer prepares for his next fight.
High night arrives and he is beaten. In the crowd Charlie watches on in dread as he holds his betting slip and lost everything. Returning home he packs up and says his goodbyes before sneaking out and leaving. He enters a bar where he meets Debbie the barmaid, once her shift finishes she leaves and drives home only to come across Charlie who has jumped from a building and seriously injured. Debbie follows the ambulance and waits at the hospital. When Charlie's wife arrives and is told the bad news Debbie takes herself home and breaks down in her house waiting for her Husband to arrive. When he does we see that Debbie is married to the boxer.
