Synopsis/Details
FLIGHT OF COLUMBUS is an eight-part limited science fiction series that blends moral philosophy, quantum physics, and cosmic suspense. After nuclear missiles vanish mid-flight, panic and awe ripple across the planet. At the center of the mystery: an ancient alien spacecraft buried on Mars—one that evaluates civilizations for moral worthiness. The Fold, a quantum layer of spacetime, stores the emotional and ethical resonance of species across time. The Ark, its agent, does not judge—but executes.
Former astronaut Jake Stone, still mourning the tragic death of his daughter, is called back to command humanity’s final mission. Accompanied by a morally diverse crew—scientists, warriors, idealists, and one sentient AI—Jake and his crew must confront not only the alien mystery, but the soul of humanity itself.
As Earth teeters on the brink of ecological collapse and geopolitical paranoia, the question looms: Are we still worthy of continuation—or is it already too late?
