Go For Green

Derek is a recently hired marijuana delivery driver at the Go For Green dispensary located in the Washington, D.C. area. He is socially awkward, but he makes up for it by putting on airs of importance and a strong dose of fake-it-until-you-make it. All he wants is to start his own dispensary because pot is what he’s good at. But his mother suffers from hypochondria and sees his new job as a way to obtain the various obscure pot strains she believes will cure her equally obscure medical conditions. The problem is, she holds Derek’s trust fund money ransom with her demands for the ever-changing pot strain she seeks. In this pilot episode, Derek is dispatched to the DC Jail to deliver medical marijuana to a mafia boss. When Derek agrees to a favor for the criminal in return for the pot strain his mother needs, he finds himself in the middle of a mafia hit. It all comes to a head when Derek attempts to pass a package to the hitman in jail and things go squirrely, jeopardizing everything.
