Synopsis/Details
Good Money is an urban crime drama that follows Tommy Townsend, a recently released ex-con determined to rebuild his life but with few options and even fewer resources. Essentially homeless, Tommy’s search for stability leads him to a too-good-to-be-true job posting on Craigslist Atlanta. What he finds instead is the infamous “white van scam”—a hustler’s scheme that pulls him deep into a world of fast cash, drugs, and dangerous temptations. As he spirals into substance abuse, crime, and violence, Tommy chases the illusion of easy money while losing sight of the second chance he fought so hard to earn. In the end, he discovers the harsh truth that not all money is “good money”. The cost of learning that lesson may be more than he can afford.
