Synopsis/Details
This ultra-short 2-header explores the jealousies that two friends feel whilst twisting the possible source of those jealousies. Two women meet in the park for lunch, discuss life and end up agreeing that some things are better for the other person, but not necessarily what you think! Simple production with huge value if played by actors with the skill to nail the characters and deflect the final reveal for as long as possible. The title comes from a play on words from "The grass is always greener" and "green with envy".

The Writer: Michael van Koetsveld

Michael writes mainly short film scripts from 1 to 15 pages, in multiple genres. He has been screenwriting since 2017, honing his style and skillset through training, practice and reading many, many other scripts. Michael's experience as a Supporting Artist in a number of feature films and TV series has given him an insight into the production requirements that percolate out of the words on a page, and he incorporates that knowledge when writing to ensure that the production ratio between cost and deliverable is as great as possible. He has set up and managed film festivals and film societies and regularly attends the London Screenwriters' Festival and London Comedy Writers meetings,… Go to bio
